Green Suds and Bubbles from Chlorox

Am I turning green?  I think I might be…..slowly.  I’ve been writing a bit about Eco-friendly products and have another lovely product to tell you about.  Clorox Green Works Natural Dishwashing Liquid!  Not only is this product a cleaning machine, it’s made from plant based products so that you can be sure you are getting safe product to use in your home around your family.

Obviously the product works.  It suds up and cleans my dishes perfectly and smells oh-so-good but something you won’t see but will know, is that it’s safe!  It eases the mind a bit and I’m know I’m doing my part on walking on the green path and supporting those companies that are doing the same thing!

Clorox has recognized the importance of making safe, green products for us and for the environment.

I’ve been giving props to a lot of companies lately for doing their share in making this world safe and Eco-friendly and I’m proud to Clorox rising up amongst them!

I’ll leave you with a few Tips for going green from the Clorox website.

  • Place a bucket in the shower or tub while waiting for water to get warm before you suds up. Gallons of water are wasted as you wait, so save it and reuse it for things like watering plants or rinsing dishes. Shaving minutes off your shower time also helps.
  • Avoid using harsh insecticides to kill bugs. Try using cayenne pepper or lemon juice if you have an ant problem – ants taste with their feet!
  • Make good use of a sunny day and line-dry your laundry. Clothes dryers are one of the most energy inefficient household appliances.
  • Purchase reusable cloth shopping bags to use at the grocery store. If you have mountains of plastic bags, use them until they wear out and then recycle them.
  • Are you diligent about drinking water everyday but always reach for a new bottle from the refrigerator? Make sure to recycle disposable ones after they’ve been used, and opt for a reusable bottle instead.
  • Be sure to run your dishwasher only when it’s full. Running several smaller loads instead of a full load wastes both water and energy.

Now do you part in making this place a safer place for our loved ones by buying green and supporting those who are doing the same.

Thanks Mom Central for introducing me to more green products!
